Ve skute\u010dnosti se v\u0161ak skl\u00e1d\u00e1 zhruba ze 130 d\u00edl\u016f, jejich\u017e hlavn\u00edm c\u00edlem je bezpe\u010dn\u00e9 napln\u011bn\u00ed va\u0161\u00ed n\u00e1dr\u017ee. V&nbsp;za\u010d\u00e1tc\u00edch rozvoje automobilismu ovl\u00e1dal v\u00fddejn\u00ed pistoli pouze pro\u0161kolen\u00fd person\u00e1l. Pohonn\u00e1 hmota byla zpravidla \u010derp\u00e1na ru\u010dn\u00ed pumpou nebo z&nbsp;konve. Postupem \u010dasu tento \u00fakol p\u0159e\u0161el na \u0159idi\u010de, a proto bylo nutn\u00e9 v\u00fddej benz\u00ednu v\u00fdrazn\u011b zdokonalit. <strong>Prvn\u00ed tankovac\u00ed pistole byly vybaveny jednoduch\u00fdm ku\u017eelov\u00fdm ventilem.<\/strong> Bou\u0159livou vlnu modernizaci pak za\u017eila pistole v&nbsp;60. a 70. letech.
